Can I use American iPhone 4 in uk?

Hi, I want to buy an iPhone 4, CDMA LOCKED TO VERIZON… So I was wondering if I would be able to unlock it in UK, and if so would it be fully useable? Thanks

Hi Sexual Harassment Panda, if it is CDMA and it is locked, then it will not work. I would get a cheap unlocked flip phone. Then you can get an international sim.

You can get non CDMA versions, CDMA is popular in the US, its a better technology. GSM is also used in the US But it much more used around the world. (Iphone 5 has both CDMA and GSM). Obviously you don't want locked phones if you want to use it elsewhere.
