Can I use an iphone 5 as a wi-fi hotspot?
My wife has the Samsung galaxy 4 and can run the internet on her laptop using the phone has a Wi-Fi hotspot or she can tether with her usb cable and use it as a dongle, is either of these options available to me on the iphone 5

Settings -> Personal Hotspot -> ON and set your Wi-Fi password the column is just below the the ON button.
