Can I use iPhone 5 bought from the US in Canada? Koodo?
Hopefully someone can help me out a bit.
My girlfriend wants to buy me a cell phone in the US for me to use in canada as it is cheaper. I'm going with the company koodo. I have a few questions I hope someone can help me out with.
-Do I have to be 18 to go with koodo with the base plans?
-Does the chip in the phone affect how it works in canada? Will it work in canada?
-Does it have to be unlocked?

The phone you buy needs to be provided unlocked, or unlocked by the provider.
It needs to be compatible with the Koodo network, which runs on Telus. You will need a Koodo SIM.
Since Koodo is aimed at the youth market, I don't think you need to be 18.
1- No you don't have to be 18
2- It will work but you will have to unlock the iPhone

Is that before a plan is added or what? Even when i choose the $45 promotional plan it says i only pay 15/month.
