Can i use my iphone for purely music on a plane?
I just want to mellow out on my first plane ride and I'm wondering if I can listen to my music please let me know quick
Yeah you can, simply put your phone Onto flight mode, and listen to your music
Yes. Just go to settings and turn on airplane mode. This will disable calling and all data usage but will allow you to play music.
Yes you can
Yeah just put it on airplane mode and you're good!
Sure you can, as others said it must be in airplane mode which shuts off data and wireless communications, and also must be turned completely off during take offs and landings. The cabin crew will normally tell you when it's okay to use your devices and when to turn them off.
- Why can't they track the iPhones (Smartphones) of the people on missing plane? Many of them would have one and also activated locate my iPhone application. And they say your movement can be tracked on smart phones.

- Is it okay to use an iPhone for music and maybe games on a plane? I'm going to Georgia tomorrow morning and I was wondering if it's okay to use my iPhone. I just want to listen to music and maybe play games (but I'll probably get dizzy so most likely just music) so is it okay to do so? If it helps, my flight is on United Airlines. Do I just need to put it on Airplane mode?
