Is it okay to use an iPhone for music and maybe games on a plane?

I'm going to Georgia tomorrow morning and I was wondering if it's okay to use my iPhone. I just want to listen to music and maybe play games (but I'll probably get dizzy so most likely just music) so is it okay to do so? If it helps, my flight is on United Airlines. Do I just need to put it on Airplane mode?

Ya its tots fine just make sure you use it once you get up in the air, because using it while its taking off can distract the plane

And you can't use it right away. You can only use it once that announcement comes that you can "safely use electronic devices" or whatever.

Ya. All you need to do is put it on airplane mode. The airline will understand that people use their phones. And as long as you don't use it during takeoff and landing you won't have a problem. (Even if you use it in airplane mode during takeoff and landing the reason they want your phone off and not in airplane moxie is so you listen to the safety announcements.)
