Can I use my iphone on a basic cell plan without data?
I have an iphone 4s through at&t. My 2 year contract is over soon. Can I just sign a new contract with AT&T and just get one of their basic flip phones for free, get a basic 500minute plan, unlimited texting, and no data… And eventually use my iphone on that plan?
I waste a considerable amount of money on data(that I don't use). I typically only use my iphone on Wi-Fi.

Yeah you can use an iPhone without using date no problem, as long as you cut down the sim if its not already the right size and it's the right provider for your phone unless unlocked. I personally have a contract that has 2GB of date but I can't use it due to pore signal strength where I live.
