Can I use my IPhone (Verizon) in India?
I'm going for vacation for a month and I wanted to know if I could use my iPhone there. I probably won't be using data but a simple call here or there. Do I need to buy a plan to do this?
I have friends from India that do this when they travel back home. I think they just bought a sim card when in India and put in it their iphone so the calls would all be local, not sure if their phone was locked or unlocked though.
- How to use Verizon Iphone in India? I have An Iphone 5 with 4G LTE For Verizon and am spending 2 months in India. I want to use this as a cell phone there. Would it work if I just replaced the sim card with a Reliance or Airtel sim card?
