Can I use my old iPhone as a Motorcycle GPS locator?
I have an extra iPhone 3GS from AT&T. I'd like to install it inside my motorcycle as an economical DIY "LoJack." I don't know how viable an option this is, but can anyone give me some possible insight?
1. Could i use a prepaid microsim to solely use a GPS locator App?
2. How would I set up a prepaid microsim on my AT&T iPhone?
3. How much would this cost per year?
I plan to install the phone under the seat, wire it to the battery, disguised as an OEM. Gimme your thoughts and thanks!
Lojack doesn't cost that much and your phone won't set off a police officers lojack locator so a rather feeble idea. If you have lojack every time it goes past a police car while stolen the locator in the police car will go off.

I don't like that and would like to know how to get by without them knowing where i'm at all times.
