Sprint family locator Iphone 5
For college my parents activated the family locator for sprint and i have an iphone 5. I don't like that and would like to know how to get by without them knowing where i'm at all times. Is there anything i can do to make it not work like turn something on or off on the phone or an app thanks in advance
Yeah, I had that too and I disabled it because it's creepy and extremely invasive, especially for someone my age (also college).
Just go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Find My iPhone
Turn OFF Find My iPhone. The only disadvantage is if you lose your phone or if it's stolen or if in case of emergency (generally authorities can still track your phone even if you turn it off if they really have to) then you won't be able to find your phone. But at least you won't be tracked 24/7 by your parents.
- What is the best iPhone locator app? I know none of them are perfect, but my phone had some of my favorite apps on it… Bla bla blaa… But I think it may have been stolen and I want proof, and more importantly, I don't want my phone to be lost again. It needs to be compatible with preferably a Macbook Pro 10.6.8 Mac OS X (no Retina, I don't think there's Mountain Lion), but just an iPad works too. Find my iPhone could work, but I can't find it on my Mac because it is only compatible with iPhone and iPad
- Sprint Iphone 4s VS Sprint Galaxy Note 2? I currently own the Sprint Iphone 4S and the data speed on it is so slow it's almost unusable. I'm looking at the Sprint Galaxy note 2. My question is. Is the data speed on the Galaxy Note 2 for sprint is faster then the Sprint Iphone 4S?
- Sprint Family/Data Plan Okay, so right now I have a family "simply everything messaging" plan that doesn't include data. I'm wanting to upgrade my basic phone to an iphone without changing my whole plan to a family data plan. I saw online the option for adding a data service onto one phone for $15. Does that mean that i can keep my old plan and pay $15 for data a month extra just for the iphone? Or what exactly is the added "data service?" Thanks so Much!
- IPhone 5 on Sprint? Sprint 3g vs 4g lte? I just bought an iPhone (with update ios6.0.1) and my iPhone says Sprint 3g in the corner… But I thought it was supposed to be 4g lte or something?
