Yes. Just login to the router and setup up a password (WPA2 version) and then use the router ID and password to log your computer and phone into the network.

And if you have difficulty access the router click start --> type "cmd" press enter --> type "ipconfig" press enter. Then enter the default gateway into your web browser.

I accidentally turned my router off today for about 10 minutes (Thomson TG585 v7) and now I can't connect with any device at all, ipad, iphone, laptop, ps3 etc. I've gone through all of the settings in the router to try and configure it but nothing I do works.   • Asus laptop stopped connecting to the wireless router? We know it is not the router because the HP Notebook works and our iPhones work. When Windows runs a detection for errors it reports none. We have unplugged everything a few times, have hit FN F2 nothing. The only message we get is to call a friend who might know how to fix it!
