Can I use text/data in Canada on a Straight Talk Unlimited International Plan?
I have an iPhone 4S with a Straight Talk AT&T SIM card. In a few months I'll be going to Montreal, Quebec for a few days. On Straight Talk's International Plan they specify that international calling is available, but they do not specify if text and data are available internationally.
Clarification would be nice, thank you.
Straight Talk does not allow international text messages with any phone or plan. If you are using your phone outside of your calling area, you are not guaranteed data.
I don't think that you can use a Straight Talk phone outside of the US The international calling plans are to call international destinations while you are located in the US
Straight Talk will not unlock any of their phones to be used with another company.
- What's the data limit for Straight Talk's Unlimited plan? I'm probably going to buy the unlocked GSM iPhone 5 and then use it on Straight Talk. However, has Straight Talk said how much data you can use before your data speeds start getting throttled? Also, will the data that I use while I'm on Wi-Fi count against that data limit?

- Over using data on unlimited straight talk plan? I have a straight talk iphone and they turned off all my data completely saying i "overused" my unlimited data plan. So i have to wait until my original service runs out which was just three days thank god, to add another 30 day unlimited plan. My only question is. Will my phone still work just fine like it did before this mishap. Can anyone tell me if this happened to them as well? And did your phone work with a new minute card? Or did you have to bjuy a whole new phone also?
- International Straight Talk? I wanted to buy an iphone from walmart and purchase straight talk. My boyfriend lives in canada and i'm in the states, so i was figuring the straight talk international at 60 a month that also includes unlimited talk, text and data. Would i be able to text him internationally, or just phone calls? Plus, i know the 45 a month can be bought as a year for 400 something. Can the same be done for the unlimited everything+International?
