Can I use the iPhone 4 earbuds as a microphone+headphone headset on my Windows 7 PC?
I game on steam. My Turtle Beach Z11's for PC and mobile have broken. They came bundled in with a converter for the single 3.5mm 4-pole connector to split into microphone and headphone jacks. The Apple earbuds (with volume rocket and microphone) also have a 3.5 4-pole connector. I've plugged in my earbuds to my Z11 converter and still no luck. Here's a picture of the converter.
Any help or cheap work arounds are appreciated.
If the wiring on the earbuds (Apple product) and the headphones/microphone (Windows product) were identically wired connections, should have worked. But you know how Steve Jobs liked to run down the road less traveled…
- What is the BEST bianural microphone I can use with my iphone? I would like to start making ASMR videos using my iphone but don't know what kind of microphones to purchase. I know I would like a bianural mic but am not willing to pay $$$$ for it. Anything under $200 the most. Would I need another video camera to get really good sound or will the iphone and bianural mic suffice?
- Somehow, a huge piece of the headphone jack got stuck in the headphone port, and I can't find any I think the headphone type is just a normal iPhone headphone. So ground, audio, mic and some of the plastic, or whatever it is, around it, got stuck in there, and it's not super deep, probably because it's almost the whole headphone jack, but it's still in there. Someone please help! I can't find anything! It's just the headphone jack tip that got stuck for everyone else! It's a laptop.
- Just got an iPhone 7, should I use my old earbuds with the dongle/lightning connector or use the ones that came in the box? I'm not sure which I should use first. Use the lightning connector with the earbuds I've been using or should I use the earbuds that come with it that just plug into that charging hole? Sorry I'm not so good at deciding.
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
