Can iphone users make free calls to other iphone users?
I remember reading this somewhere a long time ago but I just want to make sure i'm correct before I start making a bunch of calls. I use verizon if that makes any difference.
The only "free" calls you can make is FaceTime. I'm not sure if Verizon lets you call any mobile for free, but iPhone users can't call other iPhone users for free.
You have to pay for talk minutes no matter what phone or company, but you can get an app called text now, for free. You can call on that for free. There may be other apps like that too

Yeah, Of course you have an application called "face time" or you could download from app store "skype, Viber" and a whole bunch of d/f apps.
To me calls are basically free anyways when you have a cell plan, as 5000 minutes for nights or weekends si something I'll never reach.

I have an iPhone and my phone is shut off at the moment so I have to use an app for texting, but don't know of any that I can call from. I really need to make a call to a friend who is in Canada.
