Can iphones only send sms text through data?
I recently got am iphone 5s and it ended up not working so maybe that was the problem. But I noticed that I could not send messages to android users without my data on? Is that how apple works or was it just that phone.Also, I did try sending it with Wi-Fi on and it still would not work.
It's because your imessage settings are wrong. Use another SMS service.
No phone requires data to send SMSs.
- Why do iPhones take so long to send images via sms? I'm trying to send a photo to my friend on text message on my iphone and it's taking for ever why does it do this? And is there any settings that need changing to make it send much quicker? It's a disgrace to be honest so would like to know how to send it much quicker.

Now on my iPhone, it only can text email addresses using MMS. This requires data. Does apple IPHONES not know how to text a email address? I don't want to use data to text email address? I might as well just use email.
- It won't let me send pictures through text message on my iPhone 4? It used to let me send pictures through texts on my iPhone 4, but now when I try it it just keeps saying 'failed' with the red! Next to it. I have tried even when my phone has had Internet but still no luck:/ What else can I do to send the message? And I do have enough credit btw
