Can my employer track/trace my Website searches?

I've been informed that my employer can track/trace my website searches because the iPhone belongs to them?
Is this true or am I being paranoid!
I do use the iPhone at my home using my Wi-Fi and use the Internet for shopping and stuff.
Please advise
Only if they take the phone off you and check the history, therefore delete your history when you have finished surfing

It would be impossible, unless you were connected to their Wi-Fi and they would see that because they most likely have a network that all your the devices at your workplace would show up to them. Don't worry though just use 3G at work. Unless they don't monitor your Wi-Fi, then you're perfectly safe
- Work iphone and employer monitoring? I have a work iphone that I use for personal yahoo email at home using my home Wi-Fi. Will the company be able to track the specific contents of my email? I'm worried as I have been emailing clients, accounts, etc. On this iphone.
- Mapquest: how do i clear 'recent searches? Using MapQuest on an iPhone 4. How do you clear the long list of 'recent searches' that appears whenever you want to enter a new destination? (It's convenient---but not when it includes every destination you ever entered, including mistyped ones!)
- Is it possible someone can see my safari searches on their device? For some reason not long after I have searched something in my safari iPhone browser my friends mention something to me that is pretty much what i've searched. I may be paranoid but i'm wondering if there's anyway possible that i'm connected to one of their devices and they can see my browser searches etc.
- How to remove past searches on We Heart It? I have the we heart it app on my iPhone and I want to clear the past searches, but I don't know how to. If you know how to could you tell me much appreciated Anonymous
