Can pictures be retrieved from an iphone that has gotten wet? - 1
Yes, you have to go to the store or find someone tech savy though. Also because it got wet the pictures may or may not be corrupted.
Yes there's a chance data on the phone may have suevived. Take it to someone who knows a lot about electronics he should be able to get the pictures
If it could still connect to & be detected by a computer, yea.
If the phone will still turn on and can connect to the computer, then yes you can recover them. However, if the phone is completely dead, be prepared to spend a few thousand USD in data recovery if you absolutely must have the pictures.
Makes sense to have a backup doesn't it?
If it works yes, otherwise rely on backup otherwise they are gone.

- Someone local has 10 New iPhone XSs. He says he buys in bulk. How on earth could he have gotten them? I can't imagine it being from a drug deal because how would he get so many new. I haven't heard of any stores having theft recently. Can someone explain this to me?
- My Twitter has gotten hacked? Someone has been posting tweets on my twitter since last night. I have deleted the unwanted tweets and changed my password, and about an hour ago more tweets popped up. I think they are on a mobile device because I had to revoke access from my account from twitter for android (I have an iphone). What do I do about someone who has hacked my account from a mobile device?
