Can skype/facetime video calls be recorded?
So my girlfriend and I were wanting to Skype or facetime, but we weren't sure if they could be tracked. Her dad tracks her Facebook and texts, and I don't want to Skype/facetime if her dad is able to see our video calls. She does facetime on her iPhone, so her dad hasn't downloaded any recording software on that, but what I'm wondering is: can her dad record video calls over their network? Her iPhone is connected to the family Wi-Fi network, and I don't know if her dad can record her video calls over their Wi-Fi network. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I've done some research and from what i find there isn't a way to record or tap into someone's Skype or face time calls so i would assume you would be safe face timing and Skyping you could search the internet more like as if you were her dad trying to find something for that but i don't think there's stuff like that. So i would say your safe.
- Windows Movie Maker won't let me use a video I recorded with my iPhone 4? Why not? I open Windows Movie Maker, and I browse through my pictures/videos and it's not there. Every video I have with my webcam is there, but none of my videos with my iPhone is there. And I don't want to upload the video straight from my iphone because I know the quality will end up being terrible. What do I do?
- Why doesn't the video I recorded on my iphone want to play? - 1 I recorded a 2 minute video on my iphone 4 but I doesn't want to play. When I go into my camera roll the video is all gray and it says 'MOV' in the middle. Then when I click on it to play the video it says, "The operation could not be completed." Is there a way I can view the video? How can I fix it? This is a really important video to me. Does anyone know how I can fix this and why it happened?
- Video I recorded on my iphone disappeared? I recorded a video on my iphone(4s) and then went to press the stop recording video but then the screen went to a grey color and a loading sign, kind of how it is when it is in the process of shutting off. I had full battery so I don't know what the problem was. A second later it went back to the home screen. When I looked at my phone pictures, the video wasn't there. What happened? I thought I pressed the stop recording button but it is not in my files
- Skype or Facetime for calling from US A. To Europe? We're going to be in Europe for 2 weeks in September and want to know the best (and least expensive!) way to keep in contact with our kids at home in the USA We use Skype on our PC, but now that the kids have iPhones, we were thinking that Facetime might be an option. Any help here would be greatly appreciated!
