Can't restore iphone on iTunes
I changed my password on my iphone4 and I did this
1.Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2.Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4.Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button.
5.iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
But it says iTunes can't connect to iphone because its locked and it needs to be unlocked but I don't know the password! How can I restore my phone so I can get back n it!
You did not put it in recovery mode or it would not give that message. Turn off automatic sync and try again.
- When you restore an iphone from itunes backup does it restore messages? I need to restore my iPhone 4S in iTunes, will I lose my messages or will it leave the messages from my most recent back up?
- IPhone 6 Stuck on logo screen and I can't restore to iTunes? I held the power and home to reset the phone because it was running a bit slower. I do this 3 to 4 times a week, but this time it went to the dim brightness logo but never actually went to the lock screen. I put it in recovery mode and tried restoring to itunes, but it said something was corrupt. I really need my phone for school and friends, so I need to figure this out as soon as possible.
- IPhone 5s not charging and can't restore on iTunes? My iPhone 5s stopped charging normal (didn't make a sound or show charging symbol) I tried to see any lint, hard reset, nothing works, so I tried to restore it but iTunes never found the the iPhone and my windows says the "USB has malfunctioned and doesn't recognize it" I tried to install a driver but never install just failed all the time The only way to charge it is when it's off but when it's off and plug in the charger it powers back on. Any help?
- If you disabled FindMyiPhone to restore your device, will the app be enabled again after the restore? A few weeks ago I upgraded to the iPhone SE and I restored the data from my iPhone 4s onto it. (I had to disable FindMyiPhone in the process). Little did I know that it would be lost/stolen 2 weeks later. Really need to know if FindMyiPhone would be enabled because I want to know if I still have any hope at all finding it. Thanks. I tried the app already… Says it's offline. Been waiting since.
