Can't use itunes now that my phone is updated?

I updated my iphone 6S to the latest version (12.1) & when i connect my phone to itunes, it says "you need to install OS X 10.11.4 (or later)". So how do i install this version?

You'd need to upgrade your Mac that's running iTunes, the upgrades are available through the Mac's App Store. The latest is Mojave (10.14), but depending on your Mac you may be limited to an earlier version.

Hi so this might not happen usually because the ram memory is not big enough.

  • Updated iTunes and now does not recognize my iPhone? A day or two ago I was prompted to update iTunes which I did. Now when I plug my iPhone into my computer, iTunes does not recognize it. How do I fix? Computer does recognize my iPhone. (Trying to copy a photo from my computer onto my iPhone and instructions I googled said to use iTunes)
  • My itunes says it hasn't updated een though I updated it? I went to update my iphone and it said I had to update my itunes first and restart my computer (i have a macbook.) So I did all that and went to try and update my phone again and it still said I had to update my itunes first so I did it again and it is still not allowing me to update my iphone. It still says I need the latest version of itunes. What am I do wrong!
  • My cousin updated his iphone and now its saying to plug it up to itunes? I plugged it up to the computer and it didn't do anything and on the screen it still says to plug it up onto iTunes like it would when you first get a iphone, any thing I can do?
