My itunes says it hasn't updated een though I updated it?
I went to update my iphone and it said I had to update my itunes first and restart my computer (i have a macbook.) So I did all that and went to try and update my phone again and it still said I had to update my itunes first so I did it again and it is still not allowing me to update my iphone. It still says I need the latest version of itunes. What am I do wrong!
The problem is a bit complicated to explain, but here goes:
You are not using the latest version.
Are you using an old computer and the same old OS that came on it? The solution is to buy a new OS and install it. You need OS 10.5.8 or later to use the latest version of iTunes.

- No internet on laptop even though it says connected? Internets always worked fine but now nothing. I've tried wireless and cable on my home internet, i've tried using my iphones hotspot and it always says connected but nothing works. Its definitely not my internet as everything else connected works. And i can still ping websites in command prompt but thats it. Can anyone help? Really not keen on buying a new laptop…
- My iPhone battery goes down even though it says it's charging? I'm noticing today that my charger isn't the same. It's always worked before but now when I plug it in, I see the little charging symbol on the corner, but the battery percentage goes down slowly. My charger is designed so that when my phone is plugged in, a red line goes on. Now the light is turning on and off, but the charge symbol remains no matter what. I have to stay at a certain position for the light to stay.
- My iPhone 5 hasn't been charging or connecting to iTunes when connected to my computer? I know it isn't the USB cable because it charges and connects to iTunes when connected to another laptop. My laptop will let other iPhones charge and connect to iTunes, and my iPhone will charge until it comes back on when it is dead. I need to know what I can do to allow my phone to connect to my computer.
- ITunes says I need to update, but its already updated? So I'm trying to update my iPhone 5 to iOS 7… There's no Wi-Fi so I have to do it with my computer. Problem is, iTunes says I need the newest version of iTunes to update my phone to iOS 7. BUT I already have the newest version (i updated earlier). Then the Apple Software Updater comes up but there's nothing there since my iTunes is up to date… Is anyone else having this problem? I'm getting so pissed.
