Can you actavaite an IPhone 5 on Verizon without buy data?

I just got an iPhone 5 and want to get it activated but don't want to buy data. My carrier is verzion.

No. Verizon requires some sort of data program with all their smartphones… To not have some sort of data program basically kills more than half the reasons for having a smartphone.

You can do that, but it depends if you have it activated with a contract or not. Because if you have it like me with AT&T, I don't have a contract but I still get the regular service and can choose not to get the data if I don't want it.

I don't believe you can with any smartphone. You might try to see if yours is eligible for the prepaid plan as you wouldn't actually use any of the data. But the cheapest data plan is only $15/month on Verizon and if you bring your own phone I believe as an individual it's only $30/month. But your best bet is to just go to their website and start a chat with an agent and then you'll have your answer pretty quickly.

Nope. Data is mandatory on smartphones.
