Can you bring an iPhone to US ARMY BASIC TRAINING?
Will they confiscate it during reception? I seen people take photos during basic at the barracks.
You can have one the first week. Once reception is over and you actually go to basic the phone doesn't go with you.
Yes only to take photos of abuse and torture
Depends on the cadre where you are training… There's no universal policy… But it is HIGHLY likely… And they do not keep it if they confiscate it… It will be returned after training is complete
If I were you I would concentrate on the training and forget about pictures and facebook
Of course you can! Take a selfie with your Drill Sergeant and tell us how it works out!
Yes you can but you are not going to see it after your training is done
No, it will be taken after reception.
Like Kojak said, it depends on where you go for training. Sometimes cell phones are returned before training is complete.
Just leave it at home and have it mailed to you. It's not like you'll nbe using it in basic training, and WHEN they confiscate it (and they will) the military is not responsible for damage or theft if it ;disappears' while there.
leave it at home. Option with the fewest headaches.
iphones are JUNK anyhow
- Would it be considered stupid/arrogant/weird if I got this iPhone case but I'm not in the army? I support our army because they are strong and fight for our lives. Also, I'm aspiring doctor who wants to work in the US armed forces as a physician. Would it be bad for me to get this iPhone case that I came across and liked? http://www.amazon.com/...00A6USCPO/
- Will someone be able to take their iPhone with them in the army? Like, not only be in the army doing the told exercises they'll tell you to do in the army; But would someone be able to bring their iPhone with them if they're making music on the iPhone?
- What does it mean to be basic? Like a basic white girl? If someone was a "basic white girl" or "basic," what do they do, or how do they act?
- US Army: Should I cancel my AT&T iPhone 4 contract? I'm leaving next week to report to my first duty station in Korea. I have a US iPhone 4 from AT&T. I'm on the 2 year contract. Will my iPhone work in Korea if I have an International Plan? Or Should I just cancel my 2 year contract and buy a cell phone in Korea? For anyone who's been to Korea
