Can you change a payg iPhone 5 from vodafone to 3?

Can you change a payg iPhone 5 from vodafone to 3 and if so how or who do I take it to to do this

You need to check if your phone is 'locked' to Vodafone… If your phone is locked then you have to pay Vodafone a fee of around £20 - £30 to unlock it… Once your phone is unlocked it as able to accept sim cards from any mobile network.

  • Why isn't my GiffGaff PAYG Internet working in my IPhone 3GS? Basically I got an Iphone 3GS and the i put my giffgaff sim in it. I topped it up £15 and got the 400 mins and Unlimited texts and Internet package as i always do. The contract I have seems to be overpriced and half of the plan goes unused, would I be able to cancel early or change contract to either another plan or another network? As the contracts for the iPhone 5 are cheaper than the options I have on a 4s by a decent margin. However according to the Vodafone app I can't upgrade until 31/1/14 which is a long time with how much my monthly payments cost.
