Can you charge an iphone 4 while its off?
My daughters iphone 4 has to be charged. Can i charge it off, or does it have to be on?
Yes.
Once it is plugged in to charge it would turn on. If the battery is dead it would take a while but would eventually turn on & of course it can be plugged in while on & charge.

- Iphone not holding charge while off? I got my Iphone 4 around Christmas time 2012. The charge stays fine while my Iphone is on. I can go two or three days when it is on. When I turn my phone off however, the charge will not hold for even 6 hours. When I'm trying to save battery I will turn my phone off before school. When I try to turn it on after school, it is completely dead. It is less than a month old and still has a warranty so I don't know what to do. My carrier is Verizon. Any help would be great.
