Can you convince me not to get an iPhone?

I've always been super anti-apple, but now that my iPod is completely full, I'm super tempted to get an iPhone.iMessage and Facetime would also be really nice as I just moved from another country and want to be able to easily contact friends and family.

To me, iOS is getting old, even though the new iOS 7 is coming out and has a new look to everything, however I'm not a one sided person, I think about both sides, and to me iOS always had that same style where you can't put widgets on the home screen, customize with different keyboards etc.without jailbreaking (hacking) the thing, unlike Android where you get the freedom to add widgets, animated backgrounds, different style keyboards, etc.without the need of rooting (hacking). But I do like both since they both have pros and cons, IOS is easy to use, and Android is more advanced but is good for people that like more features. So what I have currently is an Android phone, and an iPod touch 5th gen. So I get best of both worlds.

I use my Android phone for calling, texting, and 4G data, obviously and some games, and music, and my iPod has music, games that only iOS has and i use the internet on it when there's Wi-Fi. Since I don't want to drain my phone battery, which is why I would use my iPod when in a Wi-Fi area.

Look at it this way. HTC has everything you would ever want, a slicker UI with Windows 8 and uses 3rd generation Gorilla Glass, unlike every Apple product. Look into the HTC One or the 8X, you will be more than satisfied.
