Can you renew a 2 year contract with verizon before your family does?

I'm on a plan with my family and our two year contract is up and ready to be renewed… Or has been for about a year. I want an iPhone and I'm ready to get it now but my family is still dragging their feet. Can I renew mine before they renew theirs or do we all have to do it at the same time?

Yes, as long as your phone/line qualifies for an upgrade, your can renew your line without anyone else renewing theirs

be warned though, Verizon changed their plan system to a "shared everything" plan, if you want to get a new/upgrade phone price, you need to switch the ENTIRE contract for all your phones to the new system, if you don't want to do this, you have to pay FULL price for the replacement phone.
