Can you still do things on and Iphone if you don't have a phone plan? - 1
I really want an iphone because I love the phone cases and I want to get texting apps, and listen to music, use youtube, use apps, the camera and instagram but my dad won't let me get a phone plan until I'm 12 (One more year) And I don't want to waste my money on an ipod if I can just get an iphone and still do everything but call in a year
It will still have everything except the calling app so just get the iphone cause you will still have every feature
So at 13 he will let you use the phone to make calls. Why not just get an ipod if your father is willing. It will do everything the iphone can do except the calling features.
You can still get apps that can make phone calls though.
If you get the current iphone now there might be 2 new ones when you are able to make calls from it. Honestly, apple is very overrated. IOS is very easy to use, but also very limited unless you hack it. Consider getting an android based phone. You can get apps for free from many websites, you can customize your phone right out of the box. If you just want the device for the reasons you stated above, I don't see why you bent on getting an iphone.
It seems like your caught up in the hype of it all. Break free from the propaganda apple spews. There's nothing special about it.
I had an Iphone with a contract. Later got out fo the contract and use my Iphone as an Ipad that has Wi-Fi connection. With that got a hot spot for $30 a month with a data limit plan and it gets me on the Internet anywhere there's tower to download or anthing you want to do like before. The Iphone was too excpesiive and had to pay early fee but am saving money. The got a cheap flip Go Phone and it works great. Then there are places that offer Wi-Fi to save my data. I don't think am aloud to disclose my provider.
