Can you transfer a Gophone sim card to an IPhone?
I have a Gophone from AT&T and i want to keep my sim card so i can keep my same number and contacts to avoid the hassle. I want to know if it is possible to just transfer my Gophone sim card to a Iphone from AT&T while staying on the same type of carrier. Going from a Gophone plan to a Individual plan for AT&T. Information would be appreciated.
Unfortunately you can't. You will have to get a new SIM. You can transfer your phone number to an individual plan and once you get it done, have the AT&T store transfer your contacts from your old GoPhone SIM to your new SIM.

I will be giving away my old i4 to someone who is currently phoneless, so my question is if I buy a prepaid phone from AT&T and try to use its sim card in the old AT&T iPhone 4, would it work? Or would the phone still need to get unlocked before any other sim card is able to work in it.

I was just wondering could i just buy an AT&T minute card on there or do I have to go on the AT&T site and get a plan which I really don't want to do. All I want is just the easy simple way which is to just get an AT&T minute card and just put the minute card on there.
