Can you transfer SIM info without buying a new SIM?
Ok so my grandma just has this flip phone and she's on the same plan as my dad and I. My dad is paying for enough data for her to have an iphone and it can't be changed, so we figured why not let her have one of our old iphone 4's lying around. So obviously her sim card is way to big to fit into the slot on the iPhone, so i was wondering if you could transfer her sim Info to the iphone itself by like calling apple or something. We want her to be able to use the phone by like tomorrow so it would be nice if we didn't have to go to the AT&T store and buy a new smaller sim card. If anyone can help I appreciate it!
Sorry, the Sims card is a necessary chipset needed to run a phone. Some phones have it internally built but those are just really old phones. I do believe that they would just give you a new Sims card if she upgrades her service. You should give your provider a call.
- Will info still be on my old iphone when I transfer to a new iphone? I recently just got the iphone 5S and I wanted to start it off as a 'new iphone' with no imported data from my old iphone4. However, if I do this, will my data and information, (notes, contacts, pictures, etc.), still be on my old iphone4?
- Which is more accurate regarding the details of an iphone, iphoneimei.info or imei.info? When I look up the IMEI of my broken iphone 5s on iphoneimei.info it says it's 16gb and when I look it up on imei.info it says it's 32gb… Which site is more accurate? The iphone is stuck in recovery mode and will not power on unless connected and it won't tell me the storage capacity in itunes.
- Iphone - buying an iphone offline from Apple and buying a sim only? Does it not work out cheaper, to buy the handset offline, and have a sim only contact and buy a nano chip separately? if you buy it from the apple store do you have to pay vat? what is the cache?
- I found an iPhone and I can't activate it without the previous owners info I found an iPhone 5s and I restored it to keep it. I was setting it up and the phone said "Active iPhone" it's linked to the previous owners ID and was wondering if I could bypass this or something? Anything will help.
