Will info still be on my old iphone when I transfer to a new iphone?
I recently just got the iphone 5S and I wanted to start it off as a 'new iphone' with no imported data from my old iphone4. However, if I do this, will my data and information, (notes, contacts, pictures, etc.), still be on my old iphone4?
Yes, so what you need to do is make an iTunes backup of your whole 4 first. Then erase the 4. Nothing will be there anymore. Then, connect the 5S to iTunes and set up as a new phone but then you can pick what to put on there and what not to. Don't restore from iTunes backup or everything will go over to it. Best luck.
Yes. Nothing was done with the 4's data so it would stay there until such time. Of course could wipe the phone anyway using iTunes.
