Can you type a different language with a English keyboard on an iphone?
What I mean is, is it possible to have a full English QWERTY layout iPhone keyboard, but type the English letters into a different language such as german, Spanish, or dutch?
Can you type english into different letters? Umm no.
Thats why there's spanish, german and dutch presets.

- Would playing The Sims in another language be a good way to learn that language? I play The Sims a lot anyway. There's a lot of volcabulary like household objects, emotions, everyday tasks etc This wouldn't be my only way of learning btw. I also have a learning French iphone app and a friend who is fluent.

Academicy type person here - have to frequently type words or names from other languages with different lettering (or accent marks), and was wondering if there are any programs out there to get the computer keyboard to act more like the iphone - where instead of holding down repeats the letter, options pop up for different lettering.
