I would not recommend it. Try cricket they have iPhones and their no contract.

Verizon will not allow you to activate a Iphone with a prepaid provider.

I would choose the prepaid provider you would like to use then buy the Iphone 5 from that provider.

What's a prepaid phone? Can IPhones be prepaid? I'm going to buy an IPhone 4 from my friend and i'm wondering if it can be prepaid? If so do I need anything like a sim chip? & It's not on contract… Or could I just go on a plan without being on a contract?
If I can buy a iphone 3 from somebody, can i use it with T-mobile prepaid? The former owner of the phone who is selling it says that they used it with T mobile on the prepaid and on the 2year plan.
