Can you use T-Mobile prepaid sim card in iPhone 3gs?
I have an iphone 3gs and was wondering if you could use a tmobile prepaid sim in it like the pay as you go sim card. And i have another question would you trade 3gs for htc mytouch? Jw cause my friend wants to trade his htc mytouch
I don't know about prepaid, but I used to have a regular T-Mobile account with talk and text, no data, and after jailbreaking and unlocking, it worked absolutely fine on my 3GS.

Yes you can unlock the iPhone, as long as its a CDMA iPhone. (the AT&T iPhone)
As for the MyTouch, I have no clue.
If your I-phone 3GS is an Unlocked phone, you can use any gsm network sim card in it… T-Mobile network is gsm network only, So you can use it in i-phone 3gs… But if it's a locked phone, you can't use with it. You need to find the current network, country it's locked now and get the remote i-phone 3gs unlock service at http://www.simpleunlocking.com/apple-iphone-3gs/rs16wp9/ and unlock it from network lock. Then use any GSM Network sim in it… Yes, You can get the HTC MYTOUCH from your friend for I-phone 3gs.
- When I unlock my iphone can I use a prepaid SIM card when I travel? I live in Germany and a friend sold me her iphone 3gs when her contract was up. She said the phone would be unlocked after a certain date but it hasn't yet. If i do this myself will I be able to use any SIM card? I have 1and1 for phone service and when I travel to the states I get a prepaid SIM from tmobile. Will these work on the iphone too?

Okay I have an iPhone 4, currently I have internet and unlimited text with At&t, however due to family issues, our service is getting cancelled and mom has agreed to buy me a prepaid phone from At&t, with unlimited text and 250 minutes for $25.So I'm wondering if I cut my prepaid Sim card and put it into my iPhone would it still work? If I activate the Sim and then just slip it into the phone. Without a Data Plan? Or will At&t add a Data plan on there automatically?
