Canceling data plan on iphone?
I have an iphone and my contract ends in February. I really like the iphone, but I'm having some money troubles right now and am trying to cut costs where i can. Would it be weird to call my carrier and ask if they can just cancel the data package on my phone? This way I'll have it for calls and texting and won't have to pay for data. Also, does this mean that all my apps will not work as i just won't be able to use any internet on it?
Not going to happen. Carriers require data plans on all smartphone plans.

Yes, you can pay for talk and text without data. Just ask your carrier.
Well I use Solavei they use T-mobile towers and offer Unlimited Talk Text and Data for $49 a month. But the best thing about it is they pay members back. If you get 9 people to join you can get FREE service. If you get 54 people to join you can make around 1250 a month. I love this company!

If your Iphone is GSM you will need them to Unlock it before you join. They should do that for free.
