Can't connect to wireless router with full signal strength?
We have a D-Link dir-601 router that worked for everything. Mysteriously, my xbox and my iphone can't connect to it, when at one point could always connect to it. My laptop and my sisters phone can connect and get internet. My xbox couldn't connect so to test it, I logged my iphone out of the wireless network and tried to reconnect but now it can't. Anyone know the deal? Wireless router seems to be playing favorites haha. I've done all the basic things like resetting the internet, sitting right next to the router, etc. In both devices that don't connect, it shows full signal strength from the router, just it can't connect to it.
Added (1). When I said reset, I mean like unplugging the power cord from the modem and router, waiting 30 seconds and replugging it back in.
What do you mean by resetting the internet? Have you used the reset button pin hole on the router and reset it and then unplug dsl/cable modem and router. Plug in modem wait till link lights are there then plug in router? If so not sure could be a bad router maybe try a new one, not seen that but once and it was an older laptop that would throw everyone off the router when it connected but it was just the type of router but that doesn't seem to be your issue since you have had it connected before. Unless you changed the router not sure but to reset it and if so then replace it and see. If it still does it maybe contact your isp. You can always take back the router after you switch it.

- My iPhone suddenly has weak Wi-Fi signal strength? This has been going on for about a week now and it happened suddenly. My 3GS suddenly has terrible Wi-Fi signal strength, meaning that if I'm in my room now, I can't get Wi-Fi while sitting on my bed. I have to be on the same floor basically as my router. Is there something I can do? Is there dust blocking something? Tips please?
