Changing my iPhone, need to completely back up my phone, how?
I'm changing my phone provider. I'll be going from Sprint to T-Mobile, I have a iPhone 4S and going to the iPhone 5S. How do I completely back up my info. Like contacts, photos, notes, etc.
1. Connect your iPhone to your computer
2. Sync with iTunes (to make sure all songs etc. Are on iTunes)
3. Go to iTunes > iPhone > Back up on this computer
It best to do it through iCloud.
Go to settings
Then iCloud
Scroll to the button
Click storage and back up
Turn on back up then allow it to back it up.
This may take a while but it saves all apps and pictures etc. (except music) you can still use the phone while it's backing up.
When you get your new phone it'll have everything your old phone had
- Why is my iPhone 5 screen not changing sides when I turn my phone sideways? My iPhone 5 screen got wet today because it was raining outside. You know how it changes sides when you watch a netflix movie. Since I came home the screen doesn't change sides. What to do?
- My IPhone works completely fine sometimes but a lot of times I can't use it and it's completely unresponsive to my touch? I scheduled an appointment to fix my very cracked screen and I was just wondering if this will fix my problem for sure or is there something else that may be causeing the screen to be unresponsive?
- My iphone is completely broken, but I need pictures off of it? I recently dropped my iPhone 5s on concrete and it shattered. It won't turn on and my computer won't recognize it. I've charged it fully, but still nothing. Right before I dropped it, I had taken some really great pictures from my vacation. I checked my icloud, but my pictures didn't transfer over to it. How can I get my photos? They're really important to me and I don't live anywhere close to an apple store.
- If I completely reset my Iphone 5s, will it go back to IOS 7? I just got my new IPhone, and upgraded it, but there have ben several problems. Not only do I hate the layout, but it refuses to connect to my Wi-Fi, saying the password is incorrect every time I enter it correctly. Would resetting the phone completely turn it back to normal?
