Cheapest way to unlock iphone 4?
Bought the phone second hand from my friend, it is locked to Orange/EE however she thought she had unlocked it. I do not have the original sim card as she is using it in her iphone5, i know the IMEI.
I'm a Vodafone customer. Having so many problems with sorting this phone.someone please help!

When you unlock an iPhone through the network, they charge you an extortionate rate. This is simply to make you reconsider swapping networks, they would obviously rather keep your custom.
The best option for you is to go to independent phone shop, a small one. These shops usually sell second hand phone, chargers, cases etc. Usually it will cost you no more than £20 this way, some shops do it for a tenner!
Alternatively, there's many online unlocking services, or even jailbreak your iphone and install relivant relating app, this would be free or extremely cheap through Cydia.

For her to not it was not unlocked is a lie, as you now know the cost of unlocking any IPhone is MORE THAN non iPhones
You should have bought a LUMIA 620 or SAMSUNG GALAXY ACE II NEW So WARRANTY and as a newer phone more advanced!
I would return the phone as she lied not only that the IP4 is months away from being DISCONTINUED

Wow Apple only support LAST 3 iPhones, discontinued means no longer sold by Apple, any future upgrades are for suported phones some new apps just WON'T WORK
On 12/09/2012 IP5 announced IP 3GS DROPPED, like the year before IP4S IN, IP3G OUT.
