Cold weather effect shipping battery?
I shipped a iphone battery and it did not work properly so the seller is sending another one well did and will the cold weather here in IL effect the battery like the last one

This is a li ion battery… There's no freaking need to pre-charge it. Get out of the 1980's dude…
anyways back your question. The cold weather may affect it, if it is not properly sealed in a air proof bag. As a precaution. Ge tthe battery, un wrap it, and let it lay out on a table until room temperature. Then pop it into the phone.
run battery dry until 5-10%… Turn off phone… Charge to 100%. This will help to avoid mis calibration in IOS.
