It would be better if you clarify what you mean by that.

Any smartphone will do the job. All you really need is email and internet. And a clock to count down the minutes until class is over.

If you plan to use the phone for notes and searching the web, phablets are much better or those which are slightly larger. A matching data plan is great as well.
