Compaq Presario CQ57 won't recognize iPhone 4?
When i plug my iphone 4 into my compaq laptop it makes a noise but doesn't actually connect. I called tech support but they didn't help and i called apple and they couldnt help. It used to connect but now it doesn't. I think something is wrong with my laptop and not my iphone. How can i connect it so i can't transfer my pictures to my laptop

I have a few stuff that might be the cause:
1. Your Laptop Is too Old So the Iphone Doesn't support It's USB (Or Vice Versa)
2. Your Laptop Is Overloaded with stuff, try and clean it up to free up some RAM.
3. You Might Of Brocken the USB, Check it out to see If it Has Scratches/Bumps on it.
Take Both Of Them To a Hardware store repairman, he might have a better solution for you
You should factory restore your Compaq to make it run like new by restarting the computer and pressing F11 consistently long before it attempts to load windows so that a Factory Restore program will load and you can restore the computer to the condition that it was when you first bought it! Just make sure you save something important in advance before you do this!
