Computer can't connect to my iphone with same LAN?

Okay so guys, I've been having this issue recently. I actually have a router to which my iphone and several devices are connected. Even my computer is connected via Ethernet cable. It could connect to my phone before. Like the ip my phone gave for locally sharing files. I would put it up on my computer browser and connect to my phone locally. But it doesn't anymore? I've tried so much. But it doesn't want to connect to my phone locally(wirelessly) via the same network.

  • Playing minecraft lan on a mobile hotspot? I have an IPhone that can create a hotspot and were at a place where there's not Wi-Fi and I want to play minecraft with my sister but my dads worrying about data. So how much data of our 6gb data plan will be used to play minecraft on lan for one hour?
  • NMAP scan shows hosts which are not in my LAN? How is it possible? I used nmap -sP (also with -PA and PR), and it shows 8 hosts up in my network. I know that only 3 hosts are up. How are this possible? One of the hosts it shows is iphone. I don't have iphone at home. Can it be a friend's iphone, who visited us a week ago, still in the router? Or could it be a neighbours ip address. It's private address anyway (192.168.1.x), so I suppose nmap can pick it up from a neighbour. Any clarification on this issue would be much appreciated.
  • Is scanning a LAN for devices connected to it illigal? I got this app on my iPhone called Fing - Network Scanner by Overlook Soft, and when I connect to Wi-Fi, it lets me see what devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi. It also gives me that device's IP address and MAC address. Is this considered Port Scanning? Please enlighten me, I don't want to get banned by the Wi-Fi or get that Wi-Fi banned by its ISP. If intent is important, my intent is just to know out of curiosity.
  • Is it possible to turn on computer over WAN (Different from LAN)? Hi, I would like to turn on my computer over WAN using my iPhone, from a completely turned off state, not sleeping. Can someone please tell me if this is possible? I'm able to turn it on from shut down over LAN at home, but what about when I'm using 4G on my phone? Someone please help, thanks.
