Computer screen dims when I connect my iphone via usb?

I have an iPhone 4S and every time i plug/unplug it, my screen dims. I will then move my mouse and it will dim once or twice more and then stops until i plug it in/remove it.

Your PC realize your plugging in an apple device and is MAD! But in reality I would think there's something wrong with the chip that regulates power to your screen, Or your PC may be under powered and need to reroute power. Just my.02

I have mobile hotspot enabled on my phone but my Wi-Fi is greyed out and I don't have Bluetooth on my pc leaving me only with the option of USB. Problem is, even though my phone says it is discoverable via USB, my computer doesn't have it in the network connections options. Please help. • How to connect my iPhone to Wi-Fi via USB connected to my PC? My internet connection in my room is really bad, most devices can't pick up Wi-Fi but my laptop can. I was wondering if there's a way to connect my phone to my Wi-Fi through my laptop, but without my computer using LAN (which I know how to do, I just can't cable it). If it helps my iPhone is also jailbroken so if there's something I can do with that then that's not a problem.
