Connecting a phone to my mac laptop?
If someone plugs their IPhone in to charge their phone into your Mac, what can they see from your computer on their phone?
Nothing unless they actually opened up iTunes and chose to sync. Even then all they'd get is your iTunes library.
- Will connecting my iPhone to new laptop delete everything? I just got a new laptop and want to connect my iPhone with it instead of my brothers one which I had been using. All the music on my iPhone is pretty old anyway so I wouldn't mind if that got deleted and I had to start again with music, but will things like contacts and photos and everything else be deleted too?
- Asus laptop stopped connecting to the wireless router? We know it is not the router because the HP Notebook works and our iPhones work. When Windows runs a detection for errors it reports none. We have unplugged everything a few times, have hit FN F2 nothing. The only message we get is to call a friend who might know how to fix it!
- My iPhone isn't connecting with my laptop? I have an iPhone 4s and an iPad and a Toshiba laptop. Whenever I plug my iPad into my laptop using a USB cable my iPad connects to my laptop/iTunes and my iPad starts charging. However, whenever I use the same USB cable to connect my iPhone, nothing happens. My iPhone doesn't start charging and nothing appears on my laptop. Why is this? Is there a setting on my phone I need to change? Any help appreciated.
- Laptop not connecting to router? It won't connect to the router anymore for some odd reason but my pc is working fine as well as iPhone. I've tried resetting router and modem, turning on and off, restarting laptop, and also it keeps telling me I have the wrong router password when I'm aware it's right. And it will not allow me to visit my IP address. I have a toshiba with windows vista, help?
