Connecting iPhone to Ford Fiesta CD player?
Hi
I have a Ford Fiesta Finesse 2005 with a built in CD player system like the one in the link below and I wanted to listen to music off my iPhone. How can I connect the iPhone to my cars speaker system?
I need a fairly cheap and simple method.
Any help would be appreciated. And please not too technical answers as I don't know much about cars.
Thanks.
Unless there's an auxiliary input ("AUX") socket on your CD player you can't wire the ipad straight in.
All you can do is get one of these (below) - or similar - which work by taking the signal from your iPad and broadcasting it on a low power radio channel which you can set. You tune the car radio into the channel and away you go.
they work OK but are not super brilliant.
- I lost contacts on my iPhone 4s after syncing with MS Sync in my new Ford? Recently bought a 2010 Ford Fusion with MS Sync, I upgraded the Sync software last night, and then synced my contacts with the car, now the contacts are gone from my iPhone 4s. I saw them successfully on the car's phone contact list. Coincidence, or an issue?
- I have a ford fiesta zetec (2009) and my hazard lights have stopped working? I have also lost the bluetooth symbol on my radio with no option to turn it back on, and my iphone can't find my radio. This all happened over the last week when I had a new head light bulb fitted. Can anyone help please?
- I'm trying to sync my Iphone 5 to my 2012 Ford focus? So far the phone is synced, but when I say mobile apps it says no apps are working. I turned on Pandora and it still says no apps are being detected. It also searched for apps and said there aren't any.
- How to connect my iphone 5 to ford sync? So i'm pretty sure i connected it over bluetooth but when ever i try to play music i don't hear it. I know the music is playing but nothing is coming out of the speakers. I have a 2012 F-150 XLT and an iphone 5 incase that changes anything.
