Bring out the best in your snaps by downloading the latest photo editing apps on your iPhone. It doesn't matter whether you're an established photographer or a keen amateur, Apple's App Store offers easy-to-use software that will allow you to manipulate your photographs and produce a series of eye-catching effects. Although some developers apply a small charge to download photo editing apps, iPhone users have a number of free options available that work just as well as the paid versions.
Filterstorm
Filterstorm is an advanced program that offers quality features similar to those found in desktop and laptop photo editors. Beginners have the ability to import photographs in standard format and manipulate them using colour correction, sharpness and vignette tools. Simple navigation allows iPhone owners to create monochrome or coloured effects using a one-tap system that produces blue, red and green hues on a sliding interface. Filterstorm is a paid app that includes cloning tools and noise reduction for video images.
Photoshop Express
Photoshop Express provides a mobile alternative for users familiar with the full Windows or Mac versions. The app is popular with users seeking a fast, basic photo editor. Features include a timer facility that makes the iPhone delay the taking of a photograph so the owner can be part of the shot. No cloning tools are available to date, but saturation, tint and contrast are all fully adjustable when editing. Photoshop Express is a free app, but paid add-ons help make this software more flexible for advanced users. Photoshop Touch for iOS is another paid alternative that combines powerful editing features in small screen format.
Camera+
The most popular selling point of Camera+, an app that sits at the budget end of paid software photo editors, is the versatility it provides on limited iPhone screen space. Simple to use, Camera+ edits stored photographs, but comes into its own with newly taken pictures. Camera+ has 18 different frames to choose from, cross process and grunge effects, a single slider interface and cropping tools. The app allows users to share photographs on Facebook, Twitter and Flickr after editing.
Instagram
As far as photo editing goes, Instagram sits amongst the more popular free apps and combines photo editing with the world of social networking. New users must register an account to use the app, but once verified, Instagram offers a wealth of tools and effects including processing, vignettes and frames. The easy-to-use interface makes Instagram popular with casual snappers wishing to combine basic photo editing software with full sharing options on their favourite social networking websites.
Pho. To Lab is pretty cool. You choose the effect, you take or choose the picture, then it changes it for you. For example, if you choose the effect that makes you into a vampire, you take the picture (with your mouth open, duh), you put it to scale, then press the continue button or something like that. Then it comes out with the finished product that has your canines legnthened and sharpened and such so you look like a vampire. Pho. To Lab is free, but you can pay for more effects.
For the scenario you said you want in your question, I would recommend the program "Over." I believe it is $1.99.
- Why do some apps work only on the iphone but not on the ipod touch? I'm not talking about those phone and message apps, I'm talking about some games like pirates in love and my forged wedding. (I like otome games)
- What are some of the best photo editing, video editing and video cartoon apps for the iPhone? I'm fairly savvy at editing, (i think lol) I'm just drowning in a pool of apps in the App Store, and I don't know which ones would work well… I'm also looking for an app that will turn video or picture into cartoon (nice cartoon, vivid colors and nice filters, that do not leave the video looking like a "sketchy" or "grungy". Any help is greatly appreciated!
- What are some good photo editing/graphic editing apps for iPhone? I already use bazaart, picsart, afterphoto and fontcandy for my graphics that I make on tumblr but I was wondering if there was anything out there more advanced? I tried the photoshop app but it's not that great to me. Any suggestions?
- What are some good iPhone/iPod apps to use when editing sports pictures? I'm editingsports247 on Instagram, and I can never seem to get that ''perfect picture'' like I want. I like the edits done by thorolgraffix, and ESPECIALLY axlgraphics. I want to learn how to add scratches, splats, and smoke/fog. If you know, please answer. Also give me some good apps you have. Any app will do for me!
