Could I use my bell mobility iphone with straight talk in the US?

I moved to the states recently from Canada, I have an iphone under bell mobility and instead of purchasing a new iphone, I would like to just use mine. With straight talk, I can enter their SIM card with gsm compatible phones. Question is, mine says to be compatible (Model A1332, iPhone 4, but not with AT&T). Would it just work if I bought the SIM card or should I just buy a new iphone?

Do i get it from the store or online? Yes you can put a sim card in it. I have one in my iphone 4s but i don't know if it is on the iphone 5 and if i buy the iphone 5 from at&t i shouldent have to unlock it right? Thats how the 4s works. If its at&t it doesn't need unlocking

I'm unsure wether the phone needs to be unlocked or not. Some blogs say it doesn't, some suggest it. I've had mixed answers from straight talk reps. I don't know what to think! Does it need to be unlocked or not to use the phone with straight talk?

I realized yesterday that the contract said that I'm gonna get my bill on Oct 19th. I also noticed that it said that I started my contract on September 19th, but I only got the phone yesterday with the contract. Should I call and tell Bell about this? I don't want to pay for a month I never used.
