Could this be a sign of cancer?
I have this very tiny bump in the place where my thigh and abdomen meet. It feels like a ball of tissue and it's painful only if I squeeze it, otherwise it doesn't bug me at all. The reason think this could be cancer is because I keep my phone in my left pocket, and this bump is where the phone is. The phone is an iPhone 6 and I'm not sure how much radiation those give off.
My father has a history of some cysts, so I think it might be that. I have a bump that feels very similar in the right lobe of my ear, and that has been there for a while.
You should consult with your doctor just to be sure, but I have a lump in my neck that I discovered years ago. I freaked, but after talking with a family friend who's a nurse, she said that it was just a fat lump. I'm really not overweight either, I'm 15, 5'8 and 137 lbs. Just so you know, this MAY be what you have. I'm praying it's not cancer.
Cell phones don't cause cancer. See a doctor if you're really worried, but I wouldn't be.
First off; the radiation given off by mobile phones is non-ionising so doesn't actually increase the risk of cancer (no matter what the scare-monger papers say) so that is not likely to be the cause.
The most likely cause for the bump is something like a cyst or fatty corpuscle (though the latter are usually not painful to the touch), especially if there's a family history of such. While it is possible that this lump COULD be a sign of cancer it is very unlikely to actually be so.
The best thing you can do, if possible, is get it checked out by a doctor who will be able to give you a more definitive answer than just about anyone here. If you are that worried about it they can run a biopsy on a sample of the lump and tell you once and for all.
It COULD be cancer but not likely why not go to the doctor and check it out for sure
Could be a cyst, ingrown hair, lipoma, lymph node, or a whole lit of other things.
Cancer is highly unlikely.
Not likely you have cancer in 3 places from a telephone. Let that be a warning to stay away from all radiation if not necessary, some play all day everyday on line. That's a whole lot of rays. Stop the cycle now while you're young.

No, it can't
Nope. Boil, cyst, ingrown hair, etc. Not Cancer.
- Will I get cancer from cell phone radiation? I use my iPhone a lot. But I don't put it up to my head since I rarely make any calls. My family and friends think using my phone a lot will me give me cancer. True?
- Why does my iphone 5 case say it can cause cancer? So I got an iphone 5 case at tjmax and when I bought my case it said a warning on the box of my case which said "this case has chemical products and it's known in the state of California that It can cause cancer, birth defection, and harm. What does that mean? What shouldn't I do with my case so that none of those warnings happen?
- What are the odds that modern technology and gadgets causes mass cancer? So a lot of people I know (including myself) spend a lot of time on their iPhones, Xbox, TV, etc. The people who are currently in their 80s-90s never really had that much exposure to this kind of technology all the time. What are the odds that all these screens are causing radiation poisoning or something and that a lot of us aren't going to live very long? I'm sorry if this is a really stupid question I just really don't know lol…
- Upper right back pain and neck pain. Is it lung cancer? I have mild scoliosis and spend several hours a day on the couch watching videos or movies on my iphone. The pain comes and goes. I don't exhibit any other symptoms of lung cancer. I have never done drugs or smoke at all. I don't feel pain when I breath in deeply. There's mild pain in my neck and lower skull. Is it cancer or poor posture and scoliosis?
