Did I completely destroy my iPhone 4?

I dropped it in water. After that, I cleaned it with a towel and started pressing all the buttons. At first, the screen lighted up like usual, but then, it suddenly turned black and never worked since. I, then connected it to my laptop but iTunes didn't recognize any phone. Just to make clear, I need to do something quick to destroy it internally so all my photos and messages will be lost. Don't ask why. So, did I succeed?

You destroyed your phone. Dropping it in water is a sure way to kill your phone and all the information it contained.

Yes you did usually if there's water damage to it fries the whole phone, including the phones Motherboard and internal memory, so that means you probably succeeded in the whole killing of your phone! =]

I think you did succeed, but if youre still not sure, leave it in a bowl of water overnight, that way the water will definitely damage the internal software, if you're that desperate

This might help. Get some rice and a zip lock bag and put the rice and the phone in the bag and let it sit for a day (24 hours) and the. Check on it and see if it works.
