Did i did something foolish?
I wanted to get my unlocked IPhone upgraded, So I went to this shop That fixes broken iphones. He upgraded it, but then he couldn't unlock it back. So he gave me a substitute phone and told me that he'll factory unlock it for me for $60 and he'll call me once he's done He said it'll take a least one day (and he said that apple is down for maintenance or something). He didn't gave me no receipt or proof that he is working on my phone.
Do you think he stole my phone?
I didn't pay him yet.
His shop seems legit.
I'm just kinda worried.
Added (1). I'm talking about unlocking it as you can use different phone providers like T-Mobile or At &t. When had my phone I had to use a gevey sim, now he said that the given sim wouldn't work and he has to factory unlock it so it wouldn't need the Garvey sim anymore.
Why would he have trouble unlocking it if you didn't put a lock on it though? I mean i guess he could have stolen it but i don't know why he'd give you a substitute if that was the issue.
- Restore your purchases option, did I actually buy something? I got this neat manga app my iPhone and later when I went to delete some I saw a restore your purchases option. I was never prompted to give a credit card number and the download was free so I kinda freaked out. Does this option just mean that I can restore deleted mangas should I want to read them again? Manga is a type of comic for those wondering
- Regarding sending something back with a warranty and returning something broken to a seller on amazon? I ordered a charger for my iPhone and it comes with a 18 month worry free warranty and my charger broke. So I was wondering can I return it to the seller in a envelope in my mailbox and same thing for the other thing that is broken. like or do I have to go to ups and ship it like that
- Is there something wrong with my phone or is there something wrong with my mom's phone? Ok so when I attempt to call my mom, it doesn't ring it just goes straight to voicemail but doesn't show on my mom's phone that she had a missed called. My messages won't go through either, but her calls and messages come through to me. We both have iPhones and they are both on. I can text everyone else, call everyone else but her.
- IPhone Suddenly slow after someone did something to it? I left my phone on my backpack… Someone, not sure who, messed with it. No pass code. Pressed down on screen hard and turned phone off I'm guessing from how it was when I returned 10 seconds later. Done in joking manner. My iPhone is suddenly pausing very often. Is there a fix? A setting? It just keeps freezing.
