Did my iPhone pick up radioactivity? - 1

Ok so I have an iPhone 4S, and yesterday I had my earbuds in without any music on, then suddenly my earbuds start making this really strange static noise, it sounded VERY similar to the static that comes from a device that is used to measure radioactivity.
I asked my dad the next day, and he said that radioactive waves may randomly generate when you're inside a building that has walls made out of gypsum, which was exactly my case.
I just want to know if that really was radioactive waves that my phone picked up and amplified it through my earbuds?

Added (1). No it didn't, but it sounded EXACTLY like this:

Yes, from above i think it does!

That sounded only at that building or other places also.

Hello

Probably Coming from your device. You kids spend Way TOO MUCH TIME with your devices and should definitely carry them inside leather, to keep the radiation away from your bodies. I snapped at a kid who put his phone up in my son's face. I didn't think that was at all cool of him. He understood what I was talking about too. He appologized and then asked my son if he wanted to view what he 'found'.
I'm a cellphone user and do not do data or anything. Very infrequent use and I like that JUST FINE. EVER! And navigation system, sure, its called 'my gps' gadget, so I won't get lost! No urges, either, to use the phone while drivng (which IS against the law in a few states now).it just WON'T happen in my drivers seat, NO WAY! My son was DARN NEAR killed while 'recieving' a text from friend! Hope he learned by that deer colision! If it takes more than 1/2 sec, to do, don't do it in a car while opporating it! That's a good/reasonable, motto, don't ya think?

Well Jason, let me help you out here. Do you live in Chernobyl? If so see a doctor. But seriously go to the doctor, radiation symptoms include indigestion, break outs, and headaches.
